Seniors program
The Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum will hold a program for people 55 and older to rediscover learning with creative art projects, science programs and other surprises from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at 19 W. Cork St., Winchester.

Thanksgiving dinner
The Salvation Army’s annual community Thanksgiving dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at 357 Cloud St., Front Royal.

The Strasburg United Methodist Church will host a community Thanksgiving dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 Wednesday. Deliveries will be available for those who call 465-8788 between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. A free-will offering will be accepted to benefit the Strasburg Local Relief Fund.

Round Hill Church of the Brethren in Toms Brook will hold a Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The Cool Spring Church of God will hold a community Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 3705 Gooney Manor Loop, Browntown. The guest speaker will be P.G. Coverstone. A social will follow.

Diabetes program
Warren Memorial Hospital Diabetes Management is hosting a Lunch & Learn program in recognition of American Diabetes Month at noon Wednesday in the hospital’s third floor conference room 2. Southern Kitchen will host a community soup kitchen with soup and sandwiches from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at 9586 S. Congress St., New Market.
