Signal Knob PTO hosts holiday bazaar

The Signal Knob Middle School PTO is sponsoring the annual Holiday Bazaar this Saturday.

PTO President, Julie Smith said there will be many different independent vendors from throughout the area selling products.

“It’s a little bit of everything,” she said.

The PTO charged vendors $20 to rent space at the event. The money will go toward purchasing software for a STEM project. She said this software will allow students to make 3-D models that will benefit their science and history projects and also pulls in the required standards of learning in their classes.

She said that in past years there has been a “great turnout” and she is hoping for the same at this year’s event. This has been an annual PTO event since 2007.

The Holiday Bazaar runs from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Signal Knob Middle School. Admission is free.

The holiday parade and lighting of the town tree will follow the bazaar. The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and the tree lighting begins at 5 p.m.

The elementary school, middle school, and high school choruses will be singing at the tree lighting event as well.
