Public meetings for Jan. 26-29

The following public meetings are scheduled:

Shenandoah County
• The Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for today has been canceled. All agenda items will be forwarded to the next regularly scheduled meeting at 9 a.m. Feb. 9.

• The Shenandoah County School Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the School Board office.

• The Citizens Advisory Committee will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the County Government Center, 600 N. Main St., Woodstock.

Strasburg
• The Architectural Review Board will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. today at the Town Hall, 174 E. King St.

• The Planning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. today at Town Hall.

Warren County
• The Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 6:45 p.m. today at the County Government Center, 220 N. Commerce Ave., Front Royal. The board plans to consider adopting a resolution declaring a local emergency for the county as a result of the snowstorm.

• The Board of Supervisors will hold a work session at 7 p.m. today to hear requests from outside agencies for the fiscal 2017 budget.

• The Development Review Committee will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the County Government Center.

• The Rappahannock-Shenandoah-Warren Regional Jail Authority Board’s Finance and Personnel Committee will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at 6001 Winchester Road, Front Royal. The authority board meets at 2 p.m.

• The Anti-Litter Council meets at 4 p.m. Thursday at the County Government Center.

Frederick County
• The Board of Supervisors and the School Board will hold a joint meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the County Government Center, 107 N. Kent St., Winchester.

• The Board of Supervisors will hold its regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the County Government Center.

Stephens City
• The Personnel Committee will meet at 5 p.m. today at the Town Office, 1033 Locust St.

• The Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. today at the Town Office.

• The Finance Committee will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Town Office.

• The Public Safety Committee will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Town Office.
