Trinity Lutheran Church in Stephens City is partnering with Shenandoah University to showcase works by local artists.

The initial exhibition, which opened on Ash Wednesday, is titled “Regenerative Landscapes.” The 20 original pieces by Dr. Geraldine Kiefer, professor of art at Shenandoah Conservatory, are a combination of three separate original collections: “Picturesque Virginia,” “Virginia Rocks” and “Asian Rocks.”

The artwork is located on the walls of the main corridor of the church, running directly from the Narthex to the parish hall.

The exhibit is open from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sundays and by appointment through the week by contacting the church office at 540-869-4019. The church is located at 810 Fairfax St., Stephens City.
