Holiday closings
The following offices will be closed Monday in observance of President’s Day.
• The Shenandoah County Extension office in Woodstock.
• All branches of the Handley Regional Library system, which includes Handley, Bowman and Clarke County. Offices will reopen Tuesday at 10 a.m.

Lebanon Church 4-H
The Lebanon Church 4-H Club and Cloverbuds will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Community Center. Information: 459-6140.

Special education meeting
The Warren County Special Education Advisory Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. Monday at the county Special Services/Diversified Minds office at 465 W. 15th St., Front Royal.

The topic will be a panel discussion on eligibility for special education services. Panel members include school psychologists Susan Smith, Jessica Dandridge and Denise Delitta and school social worker Tara Smith.

College news
Olivia Ellyn Dean Helsley, of Edinburg, was named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall semester. A senior majoring in hospitality management, she is scheduled to graduate in May.
