Garden club

The Shenandoah Garden Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Natural Art Garden Center in Toms Brook. The program will be on growing a miniature garden.

Lunch/book program

The Clark County Library will sponsor a Brown Bags with Books program at noon Thursday at the Barns of Rose Hill in Berryville.

“The End of Night” by Paul Bogard will be discussed. Information: www.handleyregional.org.

 

Trout Unlimited

The Winchester chapter of Trout Unlimited will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at NW Works in Winchester. The group will gather for dinner at 5:30 p.m. at IJ Cann’s.

‘The Cat’s Meow’

Belle Grove will sponsor a performance of “The Cat’s Meow” on Thursday at the Winchester Little Theater, 315 W. Boscawen St., Winchester.

The event will begin with a reception at 7 p.m. followed by the performance at 8 p.m. Dessert will be served at intermission.

Tickets, which are $30, will support Belle Grove’s preservation projects and education programs.

Grace Methodist

Emulate, a vocal ensemble specializing in jazz, modern and contemporary concert literature, both secular and sacred, will perform at a meeting of musical centering and meditation at 7 p.m. Friday at Grace United Methodist Church, 7882 Main St., Middletown.

Story times

The New Market Area Library will hold the following story time programs in March:

  • Friday: 10 a.m., Books and Babies for ages birth to 3. Theme is March winds.
  • March 18: 10 a.m., preschool story time for ages 3-5. Theme is March Madness.
