Card shower
A card shower is planned for Charles Frye, who will celebrate his 90th birthday March 23. Cards can be sent to him c/o Judy Rhinehart, 2707 Back Road, Woodstock 22664.

Art club
Bowman Library in Stephens City will hold the following Art Club meetings on Monday:
• Coloring Club for tweens and teens: 5:30 p.m., color enchanting designs that feature hidden objects and fun mazes.
• Manga art for tweens and teens: 5:30 p.m., bring your sketch book and get tips from other artists.

Meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month.

Lebanon Church 4-H
The Lebanon Church 4-H Club and Cloverbuds will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the community center. Information: 459-6140.

Pageant contestants
Fifteen young women will compete in the In-Town and Out-of-Town Miss Honorary Fire and Rescue Chief pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday at Daniel Morgan Middle School in Winchester.

In-town contestants are:
• Colleen Michelle Connolly, daughter of Lawrence and Deborah Connolly, of Winchester, is a senior at John Handley High School.
• Carlee Grace Gosline, daughter of Cherish Bloodgood, of Cross Junction, is a junior at James Wood High School.
• Alexis Marie Greene, daughter of David Greene Jr., of Winchester, and Lauri Hess, of Lake Frederick, is a freshman at Sherando High School.
• Alexis Lane Jenkins, daughter of Christopher and Jodi Jenkins, of Winchester, is a sophomore at James Wood High School.
• Lacey Adare Johnson, daughter of Kevin and Dawn Hoover, of Stephens City, is a senior at Sherando High School.
• Bethany Lee Melvin, daughter of Edward and Joy Melvin, of Winchester, is a senior at Millbrook High School.
• Kristel Lynn Myers, daughter of Albert Myers, of Winchester, is a student at James Wood High School.
• Morgan Taylor Quinnelly, daughter of Denver and Cathy Quinnelly, of Winchester, is a senior at Sherando High School.

Out-of-town contestants are:
• Brandilynne MiKayla Barber, daughter of Stephen and Sandra Barber, of Ruckersville, is a graduate of William Monroe High School and a freshman at Piedmont Virginia Community College.
• Natalie Christine Johns, daughter of Robert and Jill Johns, of Linden, is a senior at Warren County High School.
• Tess Elizabeth Pangle, daughter of Morgan and Sharon Pangle, of Strasburg, is a graduate of Strasburg High School and a senior at Virginia Tech.
• Emily Ann Pettit, daughter of Warren and Teresa Pettit, of Luray, is a graduate of Luray High School and a first-year student at Lord Fairfax Community College.
• Rachel Cathryn Ross, daughter of Ronald and Sandra Ross, of Edinburg, is a senior at Valley Baptist Christian School.
• Kylie Jordyn Stottlemyer, daughter of Randall and Christy Stottlemyer, of Maurertown, is a junior at Central High School.
• Allison Jarrett Wilkin, daughter of Carroll and Kristie Wilkin, of Woodstock, is a senior at Central High School.
