Author to speak at festival horticulture luncheon
Dr. Pam Webber, an award-winning nursing educator and researcher, has been named the featured speaker at the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival’s Ladies horticultural luncheon on April 29 at the Lee Jackson/Best Western, 711 Millwood Ave., Winchester.
Webber has published articles in the areas of nursing education, theory, research and reasoning, and last year published her first fiction nove, “The Wiregrass,” according to a news release.
Webber and her husband Jeff are the parents of three adult children and have two grandchildren.
Tickets to the Ladies’ Horticultural Luncheon are on sale at the Official Festival Souvenir Store and Ticket Outlet at 212 E. Cork St. in Old Town Winchester.
