Coyote Lottery

The Coyote Lottery town hall meeting will take place at 6 p.m. Friday in the Shenandoah County Government Center board room at 600 N. Main St., Woodstock. The meeting will include a drawing of eight cash prizes and a ninth prize of a hunting accessory.

Winchester Connection

Winchester Connection, a social group for single professionals over 45, will meet at 6 p.m. Friday at Piccadilly Public House. Dress is business casual and prospective members are welcome.

Fish fry

The Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Strasburg will hold a fish fry at 2 p.m. Saturday. Bingo will follow at 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit missions.

Mud Dog Run

Platoon 22 has teamed up with the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce to sponsor a Mud Dog Run at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock. The run will encompass 5K of tough terrain. Proceeds will benefit veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well as assist with local economic development initiatives. Jokers Wild charity ride

Jokers Wild will host its Spring Breakout Charity Ride on Saturday starting at Backseat Bar & Grill to benefit Mamie, a local cancer patient. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with kickstands up at 11 a.m. Information: Call or text 540-409-7550.

Virginia Youth Ballet

The Virginia Youth Ballet’s “Passport to Paris” will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Braddock Street United Methodist Church. The program will feature a live auction by Jay Foreman, a silent and children’s auction and a live performance by the Virginia Youth Ballet. Tickets: $15 per person, available by pre-sale or at the door.

Karaoke

The Edinburg VFW Post 2447 will feature Karaoke by Klink Tunes from 7-11 p.m. Saturday. Dinner specials, 5-8 p.m., include a large hamburger for $7 or a crab cake sandwich for $8.50. Dinners are served with homemade fries and coleslaw. Upcoming events include a dinner special April 22 and Texas Hold’em April 30.
