Massanutten Antique Tractor and Gasoline Engine Club will meet on Wednesday at the Edinburg Fire Hall. The Tractor Show committee will meet at 6 p.m. The regular meeting will be at 7:30 p.m.
The Rotary Club of New Market will meet at noon on Wednesday at the Shenvalee Golf Resort Miller Grille. Guest speaker will be Sherry Avery, executive director of Family Promise, a program that serves families with children who are without homes. Information: www.newmarketrotaryclub.net.

The Alamo Drafthouse will be joining with The Laurel Center to show “The Invisible War” at 6 p.m. Wednesday as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The fifth grade students at Sandy Hook Elementary will present the play “The Trial of the Big Bad Wolf” 6:30-8 p.m. Thursday in the gym/cafeteria. Admission is $3.
Book, gift fair
The Shenandoah Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold a Book and Gift Fair 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday in the Main Lobby at the hospital in Woodstock.
The Shenandoah Valley Girls on the Run will hold a 5K starting at 9 a.m. May 7 at Daniel Morgan Middle School in Winchester. Registration and packet pick up will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the back entrance near the track. Early Bird registration rates are effective through April 30. Other activities will include Happy Hair stations, face painting, photo ops and music. Proceeds will benefit the Girls on the Run Program and provide scholarships for girls to participate in the program. Volunteers are also needed. Samuels Public Library will host a three-part lecture series by Ben Glenn 6:30-8 p.m. May 3, 10 and 17. Glenn will explore the art of Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, James Rosenquist and others from the Pop Art counterculture phenomenon of the 1960s. Advanced registration is required.
