The Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce will partner with Java Media and the Town of New Market to offer a Marketing Partnerships Educational Series with a tourism slant. The first session will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shenvalee Golf Resort in New Market. Classes are $35 and limited to 12 seats. The Woodstock Library will host a special story hour 10-11 a.m. Wednesday for preschoolers at the Woodstock Presbyterian Church. The works of Eric Carle, author of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” and other children’s favorites will be highlighted. There will also be crafts and songs. Handley Regional Library will celebrate Preservation Month 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday with the program “Preservation Issues and Pleasures at a Working Mid-18th Century Plantation Site in Clarke County” sponsored by the Friends of Handley Regional Library and the Clermont Foundation.
