The following are some of the area events that will be held this weekend:
Newtown Heritage Festival
The free family friendly Newtown Heritage Festival is being held through Saturday in downtown Stephens City.
Featured are a craft show, parade, fireworks, live music, children events, wagon rides and museum tours. Information: 540-869-3087.
The Delaplane Strawberry Festival, an outreach ministry of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane.
Activities include hayrides, old-Fashioned field games, dancing, music, magic, storytelling, crafts, petting farm, antique car show, bake sale, hikes in the shadow of the Appalachian Trail, face painting, cake walking, corn hole tournament, food and more.

Barns at Rose Hill
The Corn Potato String Band will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Barns of Rose Hill, 95 Chalmers Court, Berryville.

Comedians Joe Bronzi and Liz Russo will perform at 8 p.m. today and 7 p.m. Saturday at Bright Box Theater, 15 N. Loudoun St., Winchester.

Luray Arts Center
The Main Street Singers with Main Street Kids will present “Chasing Life,” music from all living generations, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Performing Arts Center of Luray, One E. Main St., Luray.
Featured will be music by Gershwin, Berlin, Whitacre, Ames, Toto, Pharrell Williams and Billy Joel.
