Youth arts program
The Warren County Public Schools fine arts program is underway for students from seventh through 12th grades.

The Theatre Arts students, taught by Chris Whitney, will perform “Everything I Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten” at Warren County High School at 7 p.m. Thursday.  Works of art from the Visual Arts students, taught by Laura Walthal and Regina Butler, will be on display. Admission is free.

Mount Olive Baptist
Mount Olive Baptist Church in Middletown will hold a prayer and Bible study at 7 p.m. Thursday. Information: 540-667-7081.

Book sale
Bowman Library in Stephens City will host a three-day summer used book sale from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Information: Barbara Dickinson, 540-662-9041, ext. 31 or email: friends@handleyregional.org

Pressure canner testing
The Shenandoah County Extension office in Woodstock will provide free pressure canner gauge testing from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 p.m. July 21.

Those wanting their gauges tested should bring their pressure canner lid and/or attached gauge. Information: Rebecca Davis, rdavis58@vt.edu

Racey reunion
The Racey family will hold a reunion at 1 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Hill Christian Church in Lebanon Church. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Paper products will be provided.
