Homecoming
The Rev. Carter Alsberry will be the speaker for homecoming at 11 a.m. Sunday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Bentonville.

Bethany Lutheran
Pastor William R. Balance Jr. will serve as the supply pastor for the 2:30 p.m. worship service on Sunday at Bethany Lutheran Church northwest of Columbia Furnace off Wolf Gap Road on Bethany Church Lane.

Concert
The two-piece band Cring & Clazzy will perform “567,” a modern-day look at the Sermon on the Mount, using music, stories and song, at the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday at the Stephens City United Methodist Church. They will also present excerpts from Cring’s new book, “Within.” Information, 540-869-2348.

Memorial service
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lebanon Church Cemetery. Event will be held rain or shine.

Beulah Baptist
Beulah Baptist Church in Markham will celebrate its annual Choir Day at 3 p.m. Sunday featuring musical selections by St. John’s Unified Harmonizers and Hurleystown and United Men of Christ of Newburgh, Maryland. Lunch will be served before the program.

Unity of the Shenandoah
Paul McKinley, will present “Where Do We Grow From Here,” based on the Scott Peck model for stages of spiritual growth, at 10 a.m. Sunday at Unity of the Shenandoah, 6460 Valley Pike, Stephens City.
