Friday Night Live
Enjoy live music, family friendly entertainment and street performers for the Friday Night Live event from 5:30 to 10 p.m. today in Old Town Winchester. Information: 540-533-3660.
Uncle Dave and the Whippersnappers will perform at the First Friday program from 7 to 10 p.m. today at the Bowman Shannon Cultural Arts Center in Mount Jackson.

The American Legion Community Band will perform at 7 p.m. today as part of the Gazebo Gatherings Summer Concert Series in Front Royal.
The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley will hold a pottery show and sale Saturday and Sunday at 901 Amherst St., Winchester. Information: 888-556-5799.
The Lewis and Clark Circus will be held at 4:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Front Royal.
Camel and pony rides and a bounce house on the midway will open one hour before each show.

Denise Patton and Robbie Limon will give a tribute performance of Patsy Cline and Hank Williams Sr. at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the George Washington Hotel, 103 E. Piccadilly St., Winchester. Tickets: 540-771-2743.
Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane will celebrate National Trails Day and Clean the Bay Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Meet at the Backcountry Trailhead at 10 a.m. to join Sky Meadows staff to install signage for its 5K course. Bring work gloves, hat and water bottle.
Veteran hiker Jim Feitg, who hiked all 2,185 miles of the Appalachian Trail in 2014, will give a presentation at 11 a.m. in the Carriage Barn in the Historic Area.
For Clean the Bay Day, stop by the Explorer Outpost from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., located on the Boston Mill Road Trail near the Park office, for the program “Good Fences Make Good Water” to learn about the park’s efforts of keeping the Chesapeake Bay clean. Also, grab a plastic bag and gloves and help clean up trash along the trails.

Red, White & Brew
Red, White & Brew, a beer and wine festival, will be held Saturday at Heritage Park in Broadway.
Music by Randy Black and Soul Dressing with the Yound Oldman Band. Food, beer, wine, crafts, cornhole. Admission is $10, which includes a glass, $5 for nondrinkers and free for children. Information: 540-896-4992.
Veterans bluegrass festival
The annual Veterans Bluegrass Festival will be held today and Saturday at the Comer Jones VFW Post 621 in Luray.
The event features performances by Remington Ryde, the Martin Brothers from Pennsylvania, Virginia Ramblers from Charlottesville, Page County Ramblers, High Ground, Solid Rock, James River Cutups, Mill Run, Spoon Creek, Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition, Bluegrass Brothers and Dark Hollow Band.
The festival is a family style event and overnight camping is available. Tickets are $25 per person per day and $140 to camp for the whole weekend. There will be shower facilities and 24-hour security. Proceeds benefit local veterans. Tickets: 540-742-4580, 540-244-9638 or www.vfwpost621.org.
Barns of Rose Hill
The following groups will perform Saturday at Barns of Rose Hill, 95 Chalmers Court, Berryville.
- The Bitter Liberals will perform at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
- Adam J. Booth will perform Appalachian storytelling and songs at 11 p.m. The program, which is free, is part of the Charles L. Burwell Children’s Series in partnership with the Clarke County Library.

‘The Good Doctor’
Theatre Shenandoah in Edinburg will present two weekends of Neil Simon’s “The Good Doctor,” a comedy with music.
Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday and again June 10-12.

Selah Theater Project will present “Grace and Glorie” to benefit the Blue Ridge Hospice today through Sunday at 30 E. 8th St., Front Royal. A reception will be held at 7 p.m. followed by the performance today and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.
