The Winchester chapter of Trout Unlimited will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at NW Works in Winchester.

Warren County will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the recently completed Health and Human Services complex, located at the former county middle school site.
The complex now houses the county Department of Social Services, Health Department, Public Schools Brighter Futures and Parks and Recreation.
Ronald McDonald will be the guest for a program sponsored by the New Market Area Library at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rebel Park. Information: Karen Whetzel, 740-8589.
Warren High class 1952
The Warren County High School Class of 1952 will meet for lunch at noon on Thursday at Soul Mountain Restaurant on Main Street in Front Royal.
After lunch, the group will tour Warren County Middle School. Information: Shirley Place at 540-667-5452.
The Humane Society of Warren County has received a $2,500 grant from the Petco Foundation to support the shelter’s efforts to adopt out 1,016 pets in 2016.
