Card shower
A card shower is planned for Nancy Proctor Page, who will celebrate her birthday Aug. 3. Cards can be sent to 17036 N. Mountain Road, Broadway 22815.

Clothes Closet sale
The Woodstock Clothes Closet will hold a final summer clearance sale starting at 9 a.m. today. All clothing, shoes and handbags are marked half off.

Warren Fair event
The Virginia Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association will demonstrate cowboy mounted shooting at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Warren County fairgrounds.
The Warren County Fair will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Aug. 6 at the fairgrounds. Admission ranges from $6 to $10.


Extension meeting
The Page County Extension Advisory Committee will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Extension office in Stanley. Information: 540-778-5794.

Yard sale spaces
The Strasburg Presbyterian Church has spaces available for its yard sale being held from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 6. Spaces are $20 and tables are $5 each. Information: Sherry Rinard at 540-550-7105.

Antique auto show
The third annual antique auto show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at the Edinburg Mill.
Proceeds benefit the Mill and the Shenandoah Valley Cultural Heritage Museum, which is open from noon to 5 p.m.
There will be music by Sound Solutions, prizes, a cake walk, Chinese auction, food and ice cream for sale.
