The Clarke-Frederick County Extension Advisory committee will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Boyce Fire Hall. Information: 540-955-5164 or 540-665-5699.
The Type 2 Diabetes Support Group will meet at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Mall Conference Room (next to Subway), Medical Office Building 1, 1840 Amherst St., Winchester. The guest speaker will be Kayla Roberts, chest pain coordinator for Heart & Vascular Services, who will discuss signs and symptoms of a heart attack.

The Shenandoah County Extension office in Woodstock has announced the following meetings:
• The Leadership Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the extension office.
• Seven Bends 4-H Shooting Education Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Round Hill Church of the Brethren.
• Edinburg FCE Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Extension office.
• 4-H Goat Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the cafeteria at Central High School in Woodstock.
Samuels Public Library in Front Royal has announced the following activities:
Tuesday: 11 a.m., Time for Baby, for babies up to 2 years old. The theme will be exploring our senses, siblings welcome; 3:30 p.m., Big Kids story time for ages 6 and up. STEM story time on the theme of transportation.
Wednesday and Thursday: 10:15 a.m., toddler story time; 11 a.m., preschool story time. Stories will be in Spanish and English. Siblings welcome.
The Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg, will host the Scienceteller’s show “Power & Energy” at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
