New Rotary president elected

Carter Knapp has been elected president of the Rotary Club of Woodstock. His team of officers and board members took office this month and will lead the 70-member club for the next year.

Carter Knapp has been elected president of the Rotary Club of Woodstock. His team of officers and board members took office this month and will lead the 70-member club for the next year.

Knapp is director of real estate technology for Realogy Corp.

Serving as president-elect on the new board is Woodstock Police Chief Eric Reiley, and vice president is Sandy Whitesides, director of the Shenandoah County Public Library. Serving as secretary for another term is Marcia Cutter, executive director of the Sigma Sigma Sigma National Sorority. Cena Hubbell, in charge of finances at Shen-Paco Industries, serves as treasurer.

Directors include David Ferguson, fire chief for Shenandoah County, and Erin Turner, project manager at Riddleberger Brothers Inc. As the organization leader last year, Shenandoah County Sheriff Timothy Carter serves as past president.

The club meets at noon each Wednesday at the Moose Club in Woodstock.
