Bluegrass service
St. Paul Lutheran Church and North Mountain Parish congregations will hold a community bluegrass Mass worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Strasburg Town Park.
Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish for a luncheon afterward.

Homecoming
Pastor Kenn Nilsen will be the speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service Sunday celebrating homecoming at St. James Lutheran Church in Star Tannery.
A covered-dish picnic will follow.

Antioch Brethren
Antioch Church of the Brethren will hold a combined worship service with Baptism at 10 a.m. Sunday.
There will be no 8:30 or 11 a.m. services and Sunday school will not be held.
The church is located one mile west of the Woodstock Wal-Mart on state Route 42. Information: 459-3661.

Emmanuel Baptist
Emmanuel Baptist Church will hold Neighborhood Bible Time from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday for children and teens at 2774 Northwestern Pike, Winchester.
An awards program will be held at 7 p.m. Friday.

Mount Olive Baptist
Mount Olive Baptist Church in Middletown will hold a fundraising service featuring several gospel groups at 3 p.m. Sunday to benefit the Charles Buster Jackson Cemetery in White Post.
Light refreshments will be served afterward. There will be no 11 a.m. service. Information: Pam Goode at 540-667-7081.

Everence scholarships
Leah Wenger of Community Mennonite Church and Jordan Leaman of Parkview Mennonite Church, both in Harrisonburg, have each received a $750 Everence scholarship to pursue degrees at Eastern Mennonite University.
