The Strasburg Cloverbud 4-H day camp, sponsored by Shenandoah County Extension 4-H, was held recently at the Strasburg Town Park.

Students received a visit from Zapper, a llama from Posey Thisisit Llama Farm in Toms Brook and took a field trip to the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley in Winchester.

They learned about making healthier food choices, made cupcakes with special occasion themes, participated in activities building character and learned about the water cycle with Master Gardeners. They also learned about financial responsibility and saving money, participated in a nature scavenger hunt, created a 3-D flower, did face painting, made a rabbit stick puppets and learned healthy habits by doing physical activities.
