Kids camp
CLEAN, Community Law Enforcement Against Narcotics, is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Winchester to support Kids Camp at the Alamo by showing the movie “Hotel Transylvania” today through Thursday.

Movies are shown daily at 10:30 a.m. Patrons are asked to pay $1-$3 per person. Information: 540-313-4060.

Valley Reads
Handley Regional Library will host the Valley Reads finale party at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Taylor Pavilion in Old Town Winchester.

Prizes for the most prolific readers for the summer reading program will be awarded along with games and activities. Information: www.handleyregional.org.

Yard crawl
The Toms Brook Volunteer Fire Department will have food available beginning at 6:30 a.m. Saturday for patrons of the Shenandoah County Yard Crawl.

Gravel Springs Lutheran
Gravel Springs Lutheran Church in Star Tannery will hold a picnic and yard party from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Five of a Kind will perform from 2 to 5 p.m. and again starting at 6:30 p.m. Food will be served at 4:30 p.m. Held rain or shine. Bring lawn chairs. Proceeds benefit church maintenance.

Strasburg Museum
The following volunteers are scheduled at the Strasburg Museum:

• Monday: morning, Polly Wilson; afternoon, Amanda and Wyatt Leonard.
• Tuesday: morning, Trina Bailey; afternoon, C.J. Borden.
• Wednesday: morning, Carol Haycock; afternoon, Sue Foster.
• Thursday: morning, Bob and Ida Smith; afternoon, Dick Smoot and Jack Grubb.
• Friday: morning, Howard and Mary Paige; afternoon, Pat Kelley.
• Saturday: morning, Carolyn McKiernan and Ann McElyea;
afternoon, Ellsworth and Rubye Stickley.

Food distribution
The Bread of Life Food Pantry in Woodstock will distribute food from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Appointments can be made by calling 459-1928.
