The guest speaker will be Chad Layman, owner of Fine Early Landscaping in Harrisonburg, who recently put on an adventure race to provide funds for the K9s for Warriors Program.

Members of Cub Scout Pack 75 will attend the Kiwanis Club pool party from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Strasburg pool. Admission is free. Refreshments will be provided. The Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg will host an Uno card tournament for the last of the teen summer reading programs at 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
