Card shower
A card shower is being planned for Doris Baker, who will celebrate her birthday on Sept. 3. Cards can be mailed to 73 Ruth Court, Strasburg 22657.

Quota Club
The Winchester Quota Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Woolen Mills Grill, 3416 Martinsburg Pike, Clearbrook.
Members are planning the annual Kitchen Kapers, a tour of five local spectacular kitchens, from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sept. 18. Tickets, which are $20 in advance or $25 at the event, are available from club members and at the Daily Grind on Jubal Early Drive. This year’s event will benefit the ChildSafe Center in Winchester.

Wymer reunion
The families of the late Lester and Robie Wymer will hold a reunion starting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lion’s Club shelter in Strasburg. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.

Beeler reunion
The family of Jay and Nellie Beeler will hold a reunion starting at 1 p.m. Sunday at the RR Donnelly shelter at the Strasburg Town Park. Information: Margaret at 465-3097.

Bly reunion
The Bly family will hold a reunion starting at noon Sunday at the Strasburg Moose Lodge. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert or beverage.

McDonald, Stickley, Hodson
The McDonald, Stickley and Hodson families will hold a reunion at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the grove across from Walnut Springs Christian Church near Oranda.
Lunch will start at 1 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.

Mauck reunion
The Mauck family will hold a reunion at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at W.O. Riley Park in Woodstock.

Haller, Hollar, Holler
The Haller, Hollar and Holler families will hold a reunion at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Union Forge United Methodist Church in Edinburg. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Information: 540-335-2598.
