Members of the Rotary Club of Front Royal, and various other Rotary groups, visited areas in West Virginia damaged by the floods to help victims in White Sulfur Springs, Rainelle, Summerville and Chadwell. Members worked with Rotary District 7550 Governor John “Robbie” Powell, a native of Front Royal.

Rotarians not only assisted with the clean-up efforts, but manned the distribution center where victims could come and pick up needed items or food. The club also sent $2,214 to the relief effort. Rotary members worked alongside the National Guard, Red Cross and West Virginia volunteer organizations.
