Food distribution
The Bread of Life Food Pantry will distribute food from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday and Sept. 20 at 156 S. Muhlenberg St., Woodstock. Call 540-459-1928 to schedule an appointment.
Library events
The Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg has announced the following activities:
• Lego Club meeting: 4:30 p.m., Thursday.
• Rainbow loom workshop: 4:30 p.m., Friday, create new designs using rainbow looms.
• Shenandoah Stories: the library’s new web-based tour site is designed to help people learn about Shenandoah County from their computer or mobile device. To access the site go to www.archives.countylib.org/tour.

Story time
New Market Library will resume preschool story times at 10 a.m. Friday for ages 3-5.
The theme is Back to School Again. Story times are held the third Friday of each month. Activities include books, songs, movement activities and crafts. Information: Karen Whetzel at 740-8589.
