A program honoring the 229th birthday of the U.S. Constitution will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, 305 E. Boscawen St., Winchester.
The guest speaker will be Mark Quimby, U.S. Army Retired. The ceremony will also honor 40 Revolutionary War soldiers and 42 War of 1812 soldiers buried there.

The Grandstaff family will hold a reunion on Sunday at the Strasburg Moose picnic shelter on Red Bud Road, Strasburg.
Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Chicken, drinks and utensils will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and an item for the auction.
Descendants of Archie and Lucy Belle Williams will hold a reunion from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Strasburg United Methodist Church.
The Conner family will hold a reunion at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Toms Brook. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Eating utensils supplied.
The Winchester Quota Club will host its annual Kitchen Kapers tour of five local kitchens from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Central High reunion
The Central High School class of 1976 will hold a weekend reunion Sept. 23-25. Registration, information: Cindy at 459-4568.
The Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring 3-2-1 and Done, a cardio fitness program that combines resistance training and core exercises, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. starting Sept. 27 for four weeks at the historic courthouse in Woodstock. The cost is $40. Information: 459-6777.
Oct. 19 is the deadline to register to participate in a bus trip sponsored by The Friends of Handley Library on Oct. 26 to Washington, D.C.
The bus will stop at the DAR Library, National Archives, Library of Congress and National Art Gallery.
