The Shenandoah Conservatory Choir, Cantus Singers, Shenandoah Chorus and the Shenandoah Singers will give a free concert of classic and contemporary works at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Armstrong Concert Hall, 702 University Drive, Winchester.

Handley Library will host a non-fiction writers group from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The guest speaker will be graphic artist John Burns discussing “Graphic Design for Your Book.” The group meets the fourth Wednesday of each month. Information: www.handleyregional.org.
A covered-dish dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Central High School to form a school FFA alumni.

Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg will show the movie “Angry Birds” at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Children attending are encouraged to bring a blanket or a stuffed buddy. Popcorn provided.
The Shenandoah Spirits Trail, a group featuring 14 vineyards, nine craft breweries, two cideries and two distilleries, will hold a kickoff event at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Woodstock Brewhouse.
The offices of Winchester Frederick County CVB, Harrisonburg Tourism and Visitor Services, Rockingham County Economic Development and Tourism and Shenandoah County Tourism, along with support from the Virginia Tourism Corporation, created the trail, which combines wine, beer, cider and spirits industries into one product.
