Mount Zion UMC
The Rev. David Baldwin from Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, in Cleburne, Texas, will be the guest preacher at the 9 a.m. Sunday worship service at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Woodstock.

Woodstock Presbyterian
Jim Hershberger, director of the Immigration and Refugee Program with Church World Service, will be the speaker at the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service at the Woodstock Presbyterian Church.

He will discuss the refugee resettlement taking place in the valley. The church is a sponsor for a refugee family from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Christian Church assembly
Walnut Springs Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, will host the Christian Churches Disciples of Christ District XI Assembly at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at 1905 Oranda Road, Strasburg. Registration begins at 3 p.m.

Homecoming
Pastor Jack Tucker will be the speaker at the 11 a.m. worship service celebrating homecoming on Sunday at Pleasant View Church of the Brethren in Mount Jackson. A covered-dish luncheon will follow. Information: 477-3856.

Family conference
Emmanuel Baptist Church in Winchester will host a Family Conference Sunday through Friday at 2774 Northwestern Pike in Winchester.

Evangelist Dave Young will be the speaker at the 9:45 and 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. worship services on Sunday and 7 p.m. services Monday through Friday.

There will be special music and a Children’s Revival Adventure each night. Wednesday will be Lightnight for children in kindergarten through the sixth grade and Friday will be Teen Danger Games. Information: 540-667-8924.

Concert
The Congregational Christian Fellowship Church in Winchester will host the Itzels in concert at 10 a.m.  Sunday. A love offering will be received. Information: 540-869-3394.

Mt. Hebron UMC
Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church in Strasburg will celebrate homecoming at 11 a.m. Sunday worship service. Lunch will follow.

Mount Olive Baptist
The youth of Mount Olive Baptist Church in Middletown will lead the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service.
