Handley Library will kick off its winter season of A Little Noon Music at 12:15 p.m. Friday featuring the bluegrass duo Davis Bradley. Information: Barbara Dickinson at 540-662-9041, ext. 31.
The Woodstock Fire Department will hold an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday. A free-will offering will be accepted to benefit the department’s new truck fund.
St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Woodstock will hold a fish fry starting at 5 p.m. Friday. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids.
North Warren Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company 10 on Rockland Road in Front Royal will hold a Longaberger basket bingo on Friday. Doors open at 5 p.m. Play begins at 7 p.m.

The Shenandoah Knitting Guild will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 527 Fossen St., Winchester.

St. John’s Drama Club will present “Robin Hood and the Heroes of Sherwood Forest” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Skyline High School in Front Royal. Future performances will be held Nov. 18-20.
