The Virginia Cooperative Extension Service will hold kick-off meetings for drinking water testing clinics at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the following locations:
• Grace Episcopal Parish Hall, 110 N. Church St., Berryville.
• MidAtlantic Farm Credit, 125 Prosperity Drive, Winchester.
Those attending will receive a sample kit, which costs $40 for the analysis. Samples will be collected at each site from 7 to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Trinity United Church of Christ will hold an election eve service on Monday at 318 Alum Springs Road, Basye. A social time with light refreshments will be held from 6 to 6:45 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m.
