The Strasburg Community Library will host an art exhibit of works by Danny Mulvena, of Front Royal, through December. The exhibit features soft watercolors that are reminiscent of Valley country scenes.
Reliance United Methodist Church will hold a pancake and sausage breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The cost is $5 for adults, $2 for ages 6-12 and free for ages 5 and under. Proceeds benefit the United Methodist Men.

Limetown United Methodist Church in Bentonville will hold a holiday bazaar from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday featuring homemade crafts and baked goods.
Congregational Christian Fellowship Church will hold a Christmas bazaar starting at 8 a.m. Saturday at 2908 Middle Road, Winchester.

Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Tenth Legion, south of New Market, will hold a bazaar from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Featured will be crafts, silent auction, bake sale, quilt raffle, homemade vegetable soup and fried ham sandwiches. A display of quilts will be on exhibit in the sanctuary.

The Creative Challenge, a fundraiser for the SEARCH Group Home, will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at the new Mount Jackson Fire and Rescue Station.
Featured will be one-of-a-kind art created from items at the SEARCH Thrift Store. Furniture, paintings and home decor will be on display through Friday at the store. Many other items will also be sold via silent auction.

Shenandoah County Public Schools is accepting new or gently-used winter clothing to benefit area preschoolers.
