On Nov. 15, the Rotary Club of New Market donated two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to the New Market Police Department.
The devices will be utilized by the police force in their cruisers to more effectively respond to emergencies.
Funds to pay for the defibrillators were made possible by a matching grant of $1,500 from Rotary District 7570 with the remaining funds coming from the club’s golf tournament and other fundraisers.
