The following are some of the area events that will be held this weekend:
Old Town Winchester will offer special holiday-themed history tours today beginning at the Old Court House.
The cost is $5. Businesses will also be having specials for Plaid Friday. Registration: 540-542-1326.
Clearbrook Park will hold its winter wonderland light show from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. beginning today through Jan. 1 at 112 Clearbrook Drive, Clear Brook. Admission ranges from $3 to $10. Information: 540-665-5678.
Belle Grove Plantation, south of Middletown, will be open for tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets range from $6 to $12 with children 5 and younger admitted free. Information: 540-869-2028.
Bright Box Theater has announced the following activities will be held this weekend at 15 N. Loudoun St., Winchester:
• Today: 8 p.m., comedy of Lucas Bohn and Jared Stern, tickets $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
• Saturday: 8 p.m., Dogwood Tales Band with Illiterate Light, tickets $8 or $10; 7 and 9:30 p.m., comedy of Lucas Bohn and Jared Stern, tickets $15 or $20.

Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane will host a holiday open house from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The historic houses will be decorated in the style of different historical periods, there will be the music of Madeline MacNeil and costumed interpreters will reveal how residents celebrated the holidays through the decades. Information: 540-592-3556.
Handley Library in Winchester will host a family film and games at noon Saturday featuring the G-rated movie “Mulan.”
