Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival maids selected
Three women from the Winchester area have been selected to serve as maids of the Court of Queen Shenandoah XC during the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival April 28-May 7. They are:
Bella Craun is the daughter of Deborah and Randolph Craun, of Winchester. She is the granddaughter of Jackie and Thomas Sowers and Lois and Charles Craun, all of Winchester. A 2016 graduate of John Handley High School, she is a freshman at Virginia Commonwealth University majoring in environmental studies.
Emily Price is the daughter of Kathleen and Timothy Price, of Winchester. She is the granddaughter of Mary Lee and William Seal of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, and Nancy Price, of Clearbrook, and the late Donald Price. A 2015 graduate of James Wood High School, she is a sophomore at Lord Fairfax Community College majoring in psychology.
Georgie Wilkins is the daughter of Lauralyn Brickhouse of Anguilla, British West Indies, and James R. Wilkins III, of Winchester. She is the granddaughter of Thurman Brickhouse, of Richmond, Elise Drunagel and James R. Wilkins Jr., of Winchester. A graduate of Episcopal High School, she is a junior accounting major at the University of Richmond.
The maids will participate in the coronation ceremony of Queen Shenandoah XC at John Handley High School and will ride on the queen’s float in the Grand Feature Parade.
