Apple Blossom Princesses selected to serve

Tarian Laurynn Caldwell

Four area women have been selected to serve as princesses in the Court of Queen Shenandoah XC during the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival April 28 through May 7. They are:

Tarian Caldwell is the daughter of Lindsey and Aaron Caldwell, of Winchester, and granddaughter of Brian Grim, Laurie Wilkey and Patsy Caldwell, all of Winchester. She is a senior at James Wood High School.

Julianne Davis is the daughter of Beth Andres and Jeff Davis, both of Winchester, and granddaughter of Anna Mae and Tom Andres, of North Versailles, Pennsylvania, and Pat and Bob Davis, of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. She is a senior at Millbrook High School.

Maddison Dempsey is the daughter of Michele and John Dempsey, of Winchester, and granddaughter of Renaye and Bill Martin, of Winchester, Desiree and Mike Lancaster, of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Jean Dempsey, of Pittsburgh, and the late Tom Dempsey. She is a senior at John Handley High School.

Abigail Henderson is the daughter of Cathleen and Scott Henderson, of Winchester, and granddaughter of June Gritsko and Sandy and Al Henderson, of Vienna, and the late Raymond Gritsko. She is a senior at Sherando High School.

Julianne Elizabeth Davis

The princesses will participate in the coronation ceremony of Queen Shenandoah XC at John Handley High School and will ride on the queen’s float in the Grand Feature Parade.
