Bright Box Theater to host Keller Williams

Keller Williams, best known for his exciting and unpredictable performance, will make an appearance at Winchester’s Bright Box Theater today as he tours in support of his new release, Sync.

Bill Rogers, with promotions and bookings for Bright Box Theater, said this will be the first time Williams will be performing in Winchester.

“There was a huge buzz as soon as we announced that he’d be playing at Bright Box,” Rogers said. “Tickets went extremely fast and officially sold out in early January. We’ll have around 300 fans in attendance.”

Williams has a career spanning over 20 years with performances that include him creating samples live on stage. Using a special looping effect to layer sounds on top of each other, he creates the effect of a full band. Nothing he creates is pre-recorded, meaning each show is unique.

“Bright Box strives to bring the best entertainment to the area,” Rogers said.

When John Nelson and his local concert promotions company, Family is Forever, reached out to Bright Box about bringing Williams to the area, Rogers said they jumped at the opportunity.”

“Though he’s got many performance configurations; solo, trio, large group; and plays a variety of music; funk, gospel, bluegrass and acoustic dance music; one thing’s for sure about Keller Williams, he’s always fun and that aligns perfectly with Bright Box,” he added.

An Evening with Keller Williams begins at 9 p.m., doors open at 8 p.m.

Bright Box Theater is located at 15 N. Loudoun St., Winchester.
