Edinburg VFW Post 2447 will host a St. Patrick’s Day’s party with karaoke music from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday at the post home. Dinner served 5-8 p.m.
The Women of the Moose Angels Relay for Life Team will hold a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Congregational Christian Fellowship Church, 2908 Middle Road, Winchester. Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
The Rev. Tom Capshew will present a workshop titled “Change Your Mind, Change Your Life” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Unity of the Shenandoah in Stephens City. The cost is $30. Information: 540-868-1903.

Shenandoah County Public Schools has rescheduled kindergarten registration from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday at W.W. Robinson, Ashby-Lee and Sandy Hook elementary schools.
Children are eligible to enter school in 2017 if they are 5 years old by Sept. 30. Children are not required to attend registration. The following information is required: child’s birth certificate (not hospital certificate), immunization record and street address of residence. If an official birth certificate is not available, forms will be available to obtain one.
All entering kindergarteners will be expected to participate in pre-kindergarten screening in June for hearing, fine motor skills and general readiness. Appointments for screening will be made during registration.
Parents will need to provide a driver’s license or official government identification and at least two documents that show the parent/guardian name and address. Examples of acceptable documents include vehicle registration; utility bills (cable, electricity, water, gas, phone, internet); lease or rental agreement; bank statement; insurance card; county tax statement; medical bills; employer verification on company letterhead or payroll stub.

The Bread of Life Food Pantry in Woodstock will distribute food from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 459-1928.
March 22 is the deadline to register for a bus trip sponsored by Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation on April 6 to see comedian and puppeteer Jeff Dunham.

March 31 is the deadline for vendors to reserve spaces at the Heritage Day program sponsored by the Shenandoah County Historical Society from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 8 at the county Historical Courthouse in Woodstock. Information: 540-459-1795.
