The Shenandoah Knitting Guild will meet at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church, 75 Merriman’s Lane, Winchester.

The program will be on installing zippers in knitting projects. Information: www.shenandoahknittingguild.org.

Ethel’s Gang Relay for Life Team will host a Longaberger bingo event at 7 p.m. Friday at the North Warren Fire and Rescue Celebration Hall in Front Royal.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. There will also be door prizes, raffles, 50/50 and concessions. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Friday at noon is the deadline to register for the free “21 Do$ and 17 Don’t$ of Money Management” clinic at 6 p.m.  Monday at Handley Regional Library in Winchester.

Handley Library will hold a Maker Monday program from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 20.

The program will be on master keying, creating a master key for your entire home and how to rekey any residential lock. Those attending will take home a rekeying kit.

Attendance is a $15 donation to Valley Makers Association. Seating is limited and registration is required. Registration: www.handleyregional.org.

Warren County Parks and Recreation will offer a defensive firearms class from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 25 at the county community center.

The class is open to ages 10 and older, however, those under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
