Pet of the Week: Chloe is a perfect laid-back elder cat for any home
WINCHESTER–Chloe, an 8-year-old domestic short-hair mix, is looking for a forever home to lounge in.
In the cat-visiting room at the Winchester SPCA Rockaplenty Adoption Center, which animal caretaker Kayla Lynch says is the cat’s favorite room, Chloe loves to lay around in the cat tree and anywhere else she can relax.
“She’s very lovable,” Lynch said. “She’ll just chill with you.”
Chloe has been at the Winchester SPCA for around 8 months, and was originally a stray. She received treatment for her eye after another cat had scratched it, and even though that eye is somewhat cloudy, Lynch said that they have not seen any signs that her vision has been affected by it, and as far as they can tell Chloe can see very well.
Lynch also said that Chloe is good in homes with other pets and children, and doesn’t seem to be bothered by anything. She described Chloe as a very nice cat that will come up to you for affection.
Chloe is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations, and has already been spayed. She has not been declawed, and does not have any health issues. The fee to adopt Chloe is $20, as she is an elder cat.
