The following are some of the area events that will be held this weekend:
Rally in the Alley, a free block party with live music, food from local restaurants, beer and wine, crafters and fun activities for kids, will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday on Indian Alley in Old Town Winchester. Information: www.rallyinthealley.com.
Bryce Resort in Basye will hold an Easter egg hunt from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Those attending should meet outside of the ski school.
Kid’s Film Club
The Kid’s Super 8 Film Club will show a movie at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Alamo Drafthouse in Winchester. Tickets are $5. Information: 540-313-4060 or 540-533-1853 (Kids Trail Concierge).
Bowman Library in Stephens City will host the family film “Hop” and picnic from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and blanket. Library teens will be serving popcorn and lemonade. Information: 540-869-9000.
Shenandoah Caverns will offer Easter activities Saturday, including meeting the Easter bunny and an Easter egg hunt at American Celebration on Parade in Quicksburg.
There will be two hunts, one for ages 2 to 5 and another for ages 6 to 10. A few special Golden Eggs will have free passes to see the caverns. All families participating in the hunt will get a discount to see the caverns that day. There will also be a food truck on premises.
Families should arrive at American Celebration by 10:30 a.m. The hunts begin at 10:45 a.m. Pictures with the Easter bunny will be available.
There is no charge, however, those attending must register for a “free ticket” on Eventbrite for participating children. Tickets will need to be shown at admission. Information: 477-3115, www.shenandoahcaverns.com.
Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane will hold an egg-stravaganza to welcome its new flock of chickens from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
There will also be traditional mountain and folk music by Madeline MacNeil, a scavenger hunt and millers from Burwell-Morgan Mill will demonstrate corn shelling. Parking fee: $5. Information: 540-592-3556.
The James Madison Opera Theater will present Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Mikado” at 8 p.m. today at the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts in Harrisonburg.

Bright Box Theater has announced the following acts will perform this weekend at 15 N. Loudoun St., Winchester:
• Today: 8 p.m., Bill’s Butchertown Burlesque Birthday featuring The Judy Chops. Tickets: $18.
• Saturday: 7 p.m., Improv comedy with Porkchop Volcano. Tickets: $8.
• Saturday: 8 p.m., Israel Schossev “O Let Me Love You” album release party. Tickets: $20-$25.
