Card shower

Newcomers

Handley Regional Library in Winchester will hold the following meetings:
• Friends of Handley Library annual meeting: 7 p.m., Wednesday. Afterward, Lydia Sylvia Martin will perform accompanied by Josh Henderson on bass, Erica Snow on guitar and Emily Martin on mandolin.
• Youth volunteer orientation (ages 12-18): 4-5 p.m., May 19.

Goodlatte
A member of Congressman Bob Goodlatte’s staff will hold open door community office hours on Thursday at the following locations and times to meet with citizens to discuss problems they might have with the federal government or to hear their views or current issues before Congress:
• Woodstock: 9:30-11 a.m., Town Hall, 135 N. Main St.
• Strasburg: noon-1 p.m., Town Hall, 174 E. King St.

Library
Shenandoah County Library will host a meeting of the Lego Club at 4:30 p.m. Thursday for ages 5 and older.

Support
Addiction Recovery Systems will hold a support group for relatives and friends of those struggling with drug addiction from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at 210 Front Royal Pike, Winchester.
