C-CAP receives grant from Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo Bank’s Crooked Run Branch has announced that on Sept. 23 it presented Front Royal-Warren County Congregational Community Action Project with a Community Partnership Grant check for $1,000. C-CAP president, George Rutter, and board member Larry Elliott accepted the check on behalf of all the C-CAP volunteers.

Wells Fargo local employees, led by Sara Carter, have been supporting C-CAP over the past year by helping with food drives, attending C-CAP planning meetings and providing grant donations to support C-CAP services. The fall is an important period for C-CAP to ensure that funds are available for the coming winter months for food, limited financial aid and energy services. Wells Fargo is a key local partner in this effort. Warren County citizens and other businesses have also been generous in their support of C-CAP services for local families.

For more information on the C-CAP program, call Larry Elliott at 540-631-1382, or send donations directly to C-CAP, 316 North Royal Avenue, Front Royal, VA 22630.
