Festival announces fire, rescue pageant contestants

The Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival has announced that 19 young women will compete at the In Town and Out of Town Miss Honorary Fire and Rescue Chief Pageant scheduled for 7 p.m. March 8 at Daniel Morgan Middle School in Winchester.

In Town contestants are Jessica Hope Brevard of Leesburg, Miranda Renee Flynn of Stephens City, Tiffany Nicole Harrison of Winchester, Hannah Marie Horn of Clear Brook, Olivia Lehmberg of Cross Junction, Ashlyn Meadows of Winchester, Anna Layne Shifflett of Winchester, Kendall Blair Thomas of Middletown and Paige Nichelle Yost of Berkeley Spring, W.Va.

Out of Town contestants are Ashley Marie Atwood of Front Royal, Michala Elise Craig of Front Royal, Megan Alise Greber of Stanley, Destiny Dawn Kerns of Paw Paw, W.Va., Casey Lee Reifke of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., Katie Michelle Shifflett of Elkton, Alyson Brooke Stickley of Strasburg, Ashley Renee Thomas of Front Royal, Lacey Willis of Woodstock and Nancy Mae Yates of Wardensville, W.Va.

Tickets for the pageant are $5 and will be available at the door.
