Walsh appointed executive director of education foundation
The Shenandoah Education Foundation has announced the appointment of its first ever executive director, Cynthia D. “Cyndy” Walsh. She will help the board increase recognition of the foundation through traditional and grassroots marketing efforts and help the board with fundraising efforts, marketing campaigns and administrative duties.
Walsh has a bachelors in business administration, and her previous job experience includes being committee clerk in the Maryland General Assembly, office manager for a member of Congress, executive assistant to the president of the United States Chamber of Commerce and assistant to the administrator of the General Services Administration.
She and her husband are residents of Shenandoah County, and they have three school age children.
