JMU center offers help to groups, local government
James Madison University’s new Madison Center for Community Development is available to assist community groups and local governments in the region.
University faculty and students are available to help with strategic planning, economic development, needs assessment, grants management, training and monitoring, program development and evaluation, and more, according to a news release.
Center Director Nick J. Swartz said the center “will facilitate the continued and expanded development of community-based research and learning as well as mutually beneficial partnerships to forge even stronger relationships between JMU and the broader community.”
