Man attains top enlisted rank
Chief Master Sgt. James H. Fox was promoted to the top enlisted rank on June 21 before a gathering of service members, family and friends at the 165th Air National Guard Base in Savannah, Ga.
At the ceremony, Fox took the Chief Creed and was presented with his newly striped blues coat. He also received a bust to commemorate his new rank. A reception followed the pinning ceremony.
Fox has participated in numerous military operations including those in Iraq and Afghanistan.
His military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal and the Air Force Medal, among others.
A native of Wincheter, Fox currently lives in Brooklet, Ga., with his wife Regina.
