Strasburg begins Ash Street work
Daily staff report
Work on the Ash Street rehabilitation project in Strasburg begins today as crews close a section of the road to through traffic to replace water and sewer lines as well as the culvert. Public Works Director Jay McKinley said crews will allow residents to access that section. Crews will post signs directing through traffic on a detour route.
Residents along Ash Street, from Cardinal Street to Powhatan Road, also can expect interruptions in water service from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. today. The Junction subdivision might also see minimal service interruptions, if any.
