Student to attend medical conference

Gabrielle Kaiser, 13, a ninth-grader at Mountain View Christian Academy in Winchester, will attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 14-16.

According to a news release, Gabrielle, the daughter of Sherif and Gina Kaiser of Berryville, was nominated to attend the event based on her academic achievement, leadership potential and determination to serve humanity in the medical field by Dr. Connie Mariano, medical director of the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists.

Students from across the nation will gather for the three-day honors-only program for high school students to learn about medical schools, medical research and the future of medicine and medical technology.
