Front Royal Elks make donations

Front Royal Elks Lodge 2382 presented donations to area organizations in November.

A check for $1,000 was presented to Bunky Woods, of Bentonville. The money, raised at a car showed held at the lodge, will benefit Wounded Warriors, according to a news release.

A check for $1,000 was presented to Jeremy Cook, pantry administrator at Loaves & Fishes. Funds for this donation were raised at a cash party at the lodge. It was sponsored by the PER Association.

A check for $1,000 was presented by Dennis Henline, exalted ruler, to Michal Ashby, youth services supervisor for the children’s section at the Samuels Public Library in Front Royal. The funds, which will go toward the purchase of children’s picture books, are part of a gratitude grant provided by the Elks National Foundation for the youth in the community.
